Bio
Dr. Shim earned a Ph.D. from the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State University in Fiber & Polymer Science in 1991. Dr. Shim joined The Nonwovens Institute in 2006 as a Research Assistant Professor and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Textile Engineering, Chemistry and Science.
